Introduction and Notes

Welcome to the unofficial Duolingo Stories for Silesian!
Lets start off with a short introduction to the Silesian language!
The Silesian language is a West Slavic language spoken by approximately 500,000 people! This course will use mixed dialects as those are the most common in the modern day!
Although Silesian shares similar features to Czech, Polish, and other West Slavic languages, depending on the dialect, it can be very difficult for the others to understand.
Silesian also uses a variety of different alphabets, however, for these stories, we will use the 'Slabikŏrz' alphabet. We will also add extra information under highlighted words, F: Feminine, M: Masculine, FRM: Formal, PLR: Plural, and SNG: Singular!
Now, as we say in Silesia, "Winszujã szpas!" or in English, "I wish you fun!"
